We are going to the capital of Bhutan, Thimphu, as medical providers with Health Volunteers Overseas, arriving September 1st and departing December 1st.
Steve will be seeing patients and supervising psychiatric resident physicians in training at the Jigme Dorji Wangchuck National Referral Hospital as well as lecturing at the Khesar Gyalpo University of Health and Medical Sciences.
Margaret will be using her experience as a hospice social worker to assist in the development and implementation of a new palliative care program.
